2017 Wooden Boat Festival has ended

Bob Miller

Bob Miller is a retired U.S. Coast Guard officer and High School American Studies teacher (U.S. History and American Literature). He is also a Munson Institute Scholar (graduate American Maritime History studies at Mystic Seaport). He currently teaches a course at the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding titled: American Maritime Heritage. He is a member of the Azorean Maritime Heritage Society, and in 2015 traveled to the Azores to research the whaleboats. He often camp-cruises the Salish Sea in his Drascombe Longboat.
