The Arctic is transforming and with so much uncertainty in clearly understanding the rate and impact of climate change we are compelled to assess and reveal what is happening just offshore of the Greenland Ice Sheet. Through a collaborative approach we can plan priority comprehensive field assessments and help answer driving questions such as; How does the increase of ice melt relate to the observed sea water composition and thermal signatures in the glacial fjords? Will the first comprehensive study of calving activity in NW Greenland reveal new insights in mass ice loss and sea level rise? These are just a few key questions we are determined to explore.Since 2015, we survey near coastal and dozens of glacial fjords mapping uncharted remote stretches of NW Greenland for the entire melting season.  Our data is a source for many scientific organisations such as NASA's Ocean Melting Greenland Project for modeling mass ice loss and sea level rise.
